Bitrix Site Manager is to certify for MS Windows Server 2008

Bitrix Inc., a fastest growing content management solution provider, today announced that one of its products Bitrix Site Manager can be deployed with confidence on Microsoft's Windows Server 2008 (Certified for Windows Server 2008), the most advanced Windows server operating systems yet.

Certified for Windows Server 2008 logo identifies applications that have been independently tested to meet the highest technical bar for stability, security, reliability, availability, Windows fundamentals, and platform compatibility.

The certification of the commercial web-application sets the new quality standards for web-developers. The requirements include surviving low-resource simulations, Smart card login and secure credential management, ability to work in a multilingual environment, degrade gracefully when services are unavailable, and function properly in safe mode. Bitrix Site Manager – Content Management System written in PHP, became the first web application certified for Windows Server 2008.
